I agree with your analysis and observations. The pattern seen in feminism is similar. This sense of entitlement stemming from victimhood is highly destructive, rooted in anger and hatred rather than a desire to build or reform.
What’s ironic is the inherent contradiction: these “victims” remain perpetual victims because their identity is defined by victimhood. So, they never truly heal!
I very much agree. It’s the mushy middle that really has to mobilize to bring sanity back. I just published an article on my own Substack arguing trying to make the point those in the sane middle are the ones who must stand up to the Islamo-leftist bullies before extremists on the other side did. I mentioned you among a few others in the article as contributing important information. Thanks for your work Dan.
Fantastic article. I would add that the excesses of feminism and critical theory, plus a new selfishness and extreme individualism ,could be soon bringing us, in the US, to below demographic replacement levels, and has already crossed the red line in Europe. The middle is possible. Women do amazing things and still raise families. And those like your wife ,who have the courage and devotion to serve the best of their natures even whilst letting go of career goals, are to be encouraged.
As for Mamdani, voters' lunacy might not be curable before the elections, therefore the only hope is for the opposition to unite behind Adams - even Republicans-, for Cuomo to withdraw, and for the Trump administration to do everything the law and/or influence can muster to get rid of him.
Borders, like gender or truth, are to be deconstructed. Laws are violence. Sovereignty is oppression. And anyone who defends these structures is labeled a fascist, a reactionary, a defender of the “old world” they are determined to burn to the ground.
This and more is what is awaiting America once they allow Mamdani to enter the office of a mayor in New York.
The middle east ideology cannot be allowed to strive it's seed in the Western world 🌎 otherwise the end is near.
If you are not already familiar with the text of *Eshet Hayil* from Proverbs 31:10-31, I highly suggest reading through it. The poem can be read allegorically as the relationship of the nation of Israel to the Torah, but it can also be read literally as a husband expressing his admiration for his beloved wife. In fact, Jews around the world do exactly this every Friday night with their families.
Your writing is moving and strongly echoes the idealized woman of valor in the Jewish tradition. Thank you for sharing.
Excellent essay. I can relate to many comments you made about your wife. Mine also chose to prioritise certain things, and deprioritise others. Not because she cant do something, but because she doesn't want to. She holds me to account for my part in our family, and delivers on hers.
I find that in Canada as well we are losing this balance, the delicate middle. "Progressivism" has become a dirty word, mired in blimd activism, and discrimiantion and polarisation - something it was meant to fight in the first place.

Will read it, soon. Thanks
You are fast becoming one of my favorite writers, Dan.

Keep telling the truth. It needs to be stated and understood. Islam is incompatible with western culture. We cannot allow it to spread unchecked.

Thanks for the write-up @Dan
